Hi, I'm Zoe! Mother of two, coffee enthusiast, ringette player and coach for tiny humans and a total nerd for numbers.
Having spent the first eight years of my career working in audit and assurance at a large public accounting firm, I began to notice a common trend - many of my clients were needing extra support, but couldn't afford to hire a strong internal accounting function. In order to perform my job, I needed to roll up my sleeves and help out. I would assist clients in improving their working papers, converting their financial statements to align with their accounting framework and making suggestions to improve their internal controls. The joy I felt in helping these businesses improve their accouting had soon become the best part of my working day. So I decided to leave behind my former life and embark on a new adventure. And so, Realign Financial was born.
